Bad news… I’ll no longer be posting to elladee_images.
Good news… elladee_images is on hold but images posts will continue, for now incorporated with the elladee blog. April 2014

You can become blind by seeing each day as a similar one. Each day is a different one, each day brings a miracle of its own. It’s just a matter of paying attention to this miracle.”  Paulo Coelho

One of my aims to is escape from my “proper” desk, keyboard & screen centred day job, and the city, and live simply.   In the meantime I resist the temptation to postpone my enjoyment of life and sink into blindness & grey by keeping a bit of sanity through inspiring & exercising my creativity via the world I live in.

Usually it’s colour & light that saves me and attracts my attention to the miracle of my day-to-day world.   I love colour & bright & shiny & interesting.  Maybe I have a Magpie totem.    I scare myself sometimes by imagining what would happen if I gave in to my crazy grandma hippy leanings and let my world become a potpourri of psychedelic, pattern & rainbows.   ♥ EllaDee

You want more?

In case you missed my Gravatar blurb: I live in inner city Sydney, Australia with my husband referred to in my posts as the Gorgeous One (G.O.).  Currently I have a corporate job & the G.O. a construction job but our aim is to move from our small city apartment to our house in a tiny country village 6 hours drive up the coast and live more simply and creatively, probably by necessity as I dare say we’ll be a lot poorer financially than we are now. Part of that move is also to hook up to a caravan and the great Australian dream of travelling around the country, and I’d like to blog about it as we go. I write about ordinary things & day to day life, past & present, people & places, as well as take snapshots of things along those lines with my smart phone.
